What I Do
Most of my day job is building backend systems that do not fall over when traffic spikes. I spend my time on system design, high-volume visitor tracking and identity resolution, real-time data pipelines, data enrichment, and wiring up integrations across CRM, CDP, e-commerce, and marketing tools so data actually lands where it is supposed to go.
Skills & Stack
- System Design & Backends: High-concurrency APIs, event-driven services, and cookie/cookieless identity tracking (mostly Python, TypeScript, and Node.js).
- Data Pipelines & Enrichment: Real-time streaming, large-scale ETL, and data enrichment using PostgreSQL, Aurora, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, EMR, Glue, and Athena.
- CRM, CDP & Marketing Integrations: Two-way integrations with e-commerce, CRM, CDP, and marketing platforms, including all the weird webhooks, rate limits, and edge cases they throw at you.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Running production workloads on AWS and GCP without setting the cloud bill on fire.
- AI Developer Tooling: Spec-driven workflows and multi-agent tools that keep coding agents on the rails.
Background & What I’m Into
I have been writing software for over ten years. I started out in telecom middleware where five-nines uptime was a real rule, moved into large-scale data and mar-tech platforms, and grew into leading architecture and engineering teams. Even after managing teams, I still love writing code and figuring out why a distributed system is acting weird at 2 a.m.
Lately, I spend a lot of my free time tinkering with AI coding agents. Left alone, AI agents love to guess and rewrite half your codebase, so I built Specgent to make them read the repo and follow a clear spec before they touch a single file.
